Introducing... "Can. CH. YBFGoldens Chain Reaction" -   *MATRIX*

Matrix at his FIRST dog show... Austin showed him to Winners Dog and his first 2 career points!

Matrix was born July 6, 2012 to our girl - 'Journey' - "Can Ch YBFGoldens Take a Chance on Me" and 'Henry' - "Am Ch Can Grand Ch JBG's Oh Henry SDHF CGN".  He has substantial bone, a striking head piece, good dentition, lovely expression, dark pigmentation, level top-line, good movement, a thick and correct coat and gentle temperment. He weighs in at 34 kg ( 74.8 lbs ). He is very clever and loves to be a lap dog or jump up to give a hug. He was a confident and out going puppy and has matured into a lovely boy who tries to make friends with everyone. My son Austin, who was 12 at the time, worked with Matrix, taking him to training sessions and getting him ready to be shown.  In his first show, he started working on his Canadian Championship...he is a quick study and finished his Championship in two weekends, in Winnipeg and at the Balgonie Dog Show. He went WINNERS DOG on several days of the shows and also won Best Bred by Exhibitor in the Sporting Group when I showed him.  That was very exciting for me, as a breeder, to win that award. He participated in the Canadian National in Calgary July 2015. We enjoyed a visit in Banff and were able to play in the streams and get some lovely photos of him while he was with us. While at the National, Matrix was sharing the ring with his litter brother, Baloo- Can.Grand Ch YBFGoldens Open Arms and his mom - Journey - Can Ch YBFGoldens Take A Chance On Me, in the Bitch and Progeny category. What a thrill it was for me to see them all together in the ring. The apple didn't fall far from the tree, as both of his parents love to strut their stuff in the show ring as well... He is co-owned with Rosanne and lives with her full time. We miss his visits. Matrix, having completed his Canadian Championship is now enjoying his retirement from the show ring by chasing squirrels in the backyard and finding new mud puddles to explore.

Matrix passed away from suspected Hemangiocarsinoma 2022.
