After a delayed flight home and missing our connection in Minneapolis, we finally arrived in Bismarck…5 hours later. Ryker wasn't fazed by any of it and slept quietly at the airport in between gate changes. He was a Rockstar on the planes and met lots of new people who had to come give him a pat.
It is awesome to have a little boy, thundering around the house again. Ryker has made friends with everyone here, aside from one of the cats, which he still insists on trying to chase, but that will come ! Welcome Home Ryker!
UPDATE : We have a NEW Champion in the house! Ryker finished his Canadian Championship under Judge Jo Ann Pavey Saturday June 21, 2025 at 10 months of age. Great work Austin, showing this spirited boy who always loves to show he has his own personality which fills the room. Looking forward to a wonderful future with this big man!
The new July show in Balgonie was a hot one! The weather switched up on us and went from rainy to hot in record time but that did not dampen our spirits. Ryker added another Best Puppy in Group to his accolades and got another go around in Best Puppy in Show - he rounded out his puppy career going Winners Male and Best of Winners in the weekend as well.
Ryker, Austin and I tried out Sprinters in August. Ryker was his usual funny man self and did things his own way, running backwards over the line to NQ for two runs but he did figure it out after that and did get two qualifying scores of 36 and 41. He will be trying to add to his total in September to finish his Novice Sprinter Title of 150 points.

Ryker added another Best Puppy In Group to his collection, his last weekend competing as a puppy under Judge Corinne Walker.
Ryker finished his Canadian Championship at the PCA show in Balgonie at the age of 10 months under Judge Jo Ann Pavey. This weekend he also was awarded Best Puppy in Breed all six shows and one Best Puppy in Sporting Group, Winners Male 5x, Best of Winners 2x.
